Chapter I · The Call

Serve the most
vulnerable
without distinction.

A mandate nine centuries old,
answered today in Jordan.

II · Our Mission

Care where the system falls short.

The Order of Malta is a global humanitarian institution with a nine-hundred-year tradition of medical and social service — neutral, impartial, and apolitical.

In Jordan, that tradition translates to specific, measurable work: mobile medical units reaching Bedouin settlements, accessibility retrofits in public hospitals, freelancing training for refugee youth, and winter relief for families in crisis.

III · Governance

A national association under the Ministry of Health.

Order of Malta Jordan NGO is registered with the Jordanian Ministry of Health under national number 420222139. Our Embassy in Amman, established in 2003, maintains diplomatic relations with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Programs are funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), the Order of Malta's global grand priories, and institutional partners — including ProSud, Progetto Sud ETS, and JOHUD.
